Home sales in the North Country have not suffered the decline seen in much of the U.S. brought on by the sub-prime mortgage foreclosure crisis. As with many economic issues in the North Country, home sales do not necessarily surge when the national market sees strong growth, nor do they see a steep decline when the country's economy experiences a serious slowdown.
