As part of Behavioral Health Services North's Center for Personal & Organizational Development, EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE SERVICES (EAS) is an employee assistance program which contracts with North Country employers and municipalities to provide early detection and effective intervention for employees experiencing personal problems that affect their personal lives and/or their job performance.

All services are free and confidential to employees and their immediate families of businesses contracted for this employee benefit. EAS is accessible 24-hours a day and provides individual appointments in 5 offices throughout Clinton, Essex and Franklin counties, weekdays between 8:30am and 7pm.

EAS also offers trainings and workshops for personal as well as professional development to both contracted employers as well as those who do not have the EAP benefit at this time. If you are interested in bringing these learning experiences to your worksite, please email for details (bblack@bhsn.org).  We also provide the mandated trainings for compliance with the Department of Transportation regulations for highway, aviation, railroads, pipeline and Coast Guard.

The other program part of the Center for Personal & Organizational Development at BHSN is our
MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCACY program which provides education, advocacy, information and referrals to the community on all behavioral health issues. Information and education is delivered on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting. Schools, human service agencies, and community groups may request programs, including the interactive experiential trainings and awareness enhancement delivered by our all-volunteer North Country Mental Health Players.
