While working as manager at a local sporting goods store I began taking classes at Clinton Community College to obtain an assiciates degree in Computer Information Services with a high interest in Microsoft Office tools and web design. In 2003 I began working at the Press-Republican as an advertising sales rep. I brought to the Press-Republican the ability to relate to the advertising clients and the techincal knowledge to help them advertise in the internet age. In 2006 the Press-Republican online site underwent a major redesign and I jouned the internet staff in February.
Since joining the internet staff I have made every effort to help reduce the workload that the sales people and our online staff have had to bear. Currently I help out the staff by creating databases, designing advertising banners, building internal programs and even redesigning the software behind North Country BizConnect. |
