Paul Grasso has been involved in workforce development since 1982 when he was selected to run a remployment program for Vietnam veterans in San Diego, California. Subsequently, as chief of staff to 4 different city councilmembers and 1 mayor, he advised the elected officials for whom he worked on a myriad of issues, including workforce development.
In 1996 he was asked to join the San Diego Workforce Partnership as its CEO and lead the organization while it was under investigation by federal, state, and local investigatory agencies. He ulitmately became the organization's Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, a position he held for 10 years. During that time, the San Diego Workforce Partnership became one of the most innovative and successful workforce development organizations in the United States.
Paul also has worked with several entities in the EEC as a consultant.
Paul relocated to Plattsburgh in the autumn of 2007 and currently serves as the Executive Director of the North Country Workforce Investment Board.
